The Building

At present, both Kollel Chatzos and The Halacha Kollel are housed in a small, rundown building without air conditioning or proper facilities. Yet, despite the difficult conditions, the voice of Torah resonates there throughout the entire night and most of the day.

The municipality of Beitar, recognizing the tremendous contribution that the Kollel has made to the community, granted the Kollel a large plot of land. The plot is situated in an area of Beitar that is presently under construction, and many families have purchased homes in the area because of its close proximity to the Kollel. Knowing that there they will be privileged to enjoy a wide array of spiritually uplifting services, such as shiurim for both men and women, separate after-school activities for boys and girls, clubs and classes for teenagers, as well as a beautiful mikveh, around the clock learning, including the Kollel Chatzos, the Halachah Kollel and shiurim for the baalei batim, inspirational minyanim, including a neitz/sunrise minyan and hot drinks and cookies to provide quick energy for the many people taking advantage of the Kollel's many services.

Included in the plans [see imaging] for the building is a majestic garden with comfortable tables and proper lighting to enable our Torah scholars to study with the serenity.

In its new building, Kollel Chatzos will become a true spiritual center, literally illuminating the entire world with the pure, pristine light of Torah.
